This is a 2011 Patek Philippe 5170J mechanical hand wound chronograph in 18ct yellow gold with matching folding clasp. This watch comes with its original Patek Philippe box and warranty. It has had just one owner from new and has been exceptionally well cared for. The condition is perfect. The watch was originally purchased from an authorised agent in the UK.
The Patek Philippe 5170J was introduced by the famous watchmaker in 2010 to replace the legendary Patek 5070 chronograph which was one of the largest and most collectible watches released by Patek Philippe.
The new completely 'in-house' movement took 5 years to design and build and included six innovative design patents including a 'slotted minuter counter cam.'
The watch is 39mm wide, had 33 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 65 hours when fully wound.
It is a remarkable watch.
