Forget the gold bunny, how about a gold watch this Easter?

Easter

Whilst we all love to unwrap those delicious gold bunnies this time of year, how about unwrapping a stunning gold timepiece instead? We have talked before about that throwback to the seventies, and we think gold accessories still are very much on trend. There are so many luxury gold watches out there, but lets take a look at a couple of dazzlers!

Pearlmaster Rolex Watch

Who does not love THE classic and iconic Rolex Day-Date. In 1956, the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date made its debut. It was only available in 18 ct gold or platinum, and it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the dial. The President bracelet was originally created for the Day-Date, and this prestigious model has been worn by more presidents, leaders and visionaries than any other watch.

The Rolex Day Date 40 ref. 228238 is still as perfect as the first one made 60 years ago. The 18 ct yellow gold timepiece will be instantly recognisable on the wrist. We particularly like the fresh white dial which compliments the gold.

Audemars Piguet frosted gold Royal Oak watch

Another luxury brand striking gold is Audemars Piguet, with their new frosted gold additions to the Royal Oak range. “A shimmering reinvention of an icon”... we absolutely love them! The Royal Oak Frosted Gold (ref. 15454OR.GG.1259OR.01) enriches Audemars Piguet’s tradition of experimenting with jewellery techniques. The hammered case is 18-carat pink gold, and the stunning silver-toned dial with “Grande Tapisserie” pattern is perfect. The frosted gold comes in two sizes, 33mm and 37mm. This edition certainly has that wow factor!

Rolex Daytona Gold

Here at Armour Winston we have the perfect treat for your loved one. How about a Rolex 116528 Daytona chronograph in all gold? You will save over £6,000 on this absolutely stunning Rolex!  It is in perfect condition and will go nicely with (or instead of) an Easter Egg!
